Directed by Dean Holland, in the 10-episode comedy series ‘Dig,‘ another summer begins at an archaeological dig in Greece. Second-in-command Elise is told by her longtime boss, Neville, that this is his final year and he is handing off the dig for her to run. Her ex-best friend Dylan shows up with the goal of reuniting with her ex, Gary, only to find out that he is now engaged to Clare. The dig is helped by a group of undergraduate volunteers, among them Patty, who has otherwise not been out of the country and might be a bit in over her head. After Elise and Dylan discover a massive find — and decide to keep it secret — they loop in Clare and Patty for their added expertise.
