New York City is a hub of artistic spirit and diversity and so there are many opportunities for artists to showcase their work throughout the year. From September 28 until October 2, 2016, the Affordable Art Fair will be on view at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Since 1999, the Affordable Art Fair has sold over $367 million across the globe. The fair spans the world and has taken place in Amsterdam, Bristol, Brussels, Hamburg, Hong Kong, London, Milan, New York, Seoul, Singapore and Stockholm. The showcase in NYC plans to be one of the years’ artistic highlights.

The Affordable Art Fair in NYC will feature artwork from seventy-four national and international galleries that are exhibiting original pieces of art created by more than 500 artists. This eclectic collection of contemporary art ranges in price from $100 to $10,000. “Affordable Art Fair NYC is about accessibility and variety, all nestled into one inspiring and engaging setting,” said Cristina Salmastrelli, Director of Affordable Art Fair NYC, via a press release. “That’s why our exhibiting galleries are so important to us. We want our visitors – both new and returning – to experience a fresh fair so that when they walk away, everyone has discovered something new about the contemporary art market.”

Anyone who is interested in art and lives in the Tri-State area should certainly consider spending  a few hours at the event. To learn more, visit the Affordable Art Fair’s official website.
