Directed by Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, Vincenzo Natali, and Terry Matalas, the series ‘VisionQuest’ centers on Vision, rebooted and having escaped from those who sought to weaponize him, living in hiding while he searches for new meaning by consulting the AI personas embedded in his programming, including Friday, Edith, Jarvis and Ultron. His discreet existence ends when a bounty placed on his head thrusts him on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be Vision’s reincarnated son.

Created / written by Terry Matalas (also showrunner), and co-written by Cindy Appel, Nicole Falsetti, Christopher Monfette, Matthew Okumura, and Michael Taylor, ‘VisionQuest’ is produced by Roopesh Parekh, with executive producers Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Mary Livanos, Terry Matalas, Jac Schaeffer, and Christopher J. Byrne. Production company is Marvel Television.

The series’ cinematography is by Christopher Ross, Neville Kidd and Ben Smithard, with music by Mick Giacchino.

Disney+ will release ‘VisionQuest’ digitally on October 14, 2026, with the first two episodes screening at the BFI London Film Festival on October 12, 2026.
