Directed by Pamela Fryman, the series ‘Newlyweds’ centers on a later-in-life love story about Jeanie, a free-spirited woman, and James, a buttoned-up professor, who marry impetuously after a whirlwind courtship and then learn to navigate each other’s eccentric families, friends, and lives.
‘Newlyweds’ stars Téa Leoni (as Jeanie), Tim Daly (as James), Emma Meisel (as Poppy), Ignacio Diaz-Silverio (as Lolo), and Bill O’Neill (as Arvid). Jamie Lee Curtis appears as a very special guest star (as Claudia).
